Deep in the heart of the oldest mountain range in the world is a small and intimate sanctuary; bordered on one side by a beautiful creek known as the Caney Fork Creek, and by thousands of acres of Nantahala National Forest on the other. Inside the perimeter, 19 pristine homesites mix among clusters of rhododendrons, native plants, and deciduous forest trees.
Welcome to Creekmont.
Crossing the quaint bridge over the Caney Fork that marks Creekmont's entrance, visitors and residents are greeted by the common area, a perfectly manicured green pasture and the hub for community activity. The road soon begins its gradual ascension up the ridgeline, dotted along the way by trails, pavilions, picnic areas and homesites. The road ends at the top of the ridge, culminating in majestic views of neighboring mountain ranges, and an access point to the thousands of acres designated to Nantahala National Forest.
